Minapharm Awarded as One of the Top Companies in Egypt


Minapharm was honored for its role as one of the 100 top companies and one of the only top two pharmaceutical companies operating in Egypt in 2017. The award was granted by Dr. Sahar Nasr, Minister of Investment and International Cooperation, on behalf of Prime Minister Sherif Ismail.

During the award ceremony which was held under the auspices of the Prime Minister, Dina Soliman, Strategic Operations Manager, received the honorary shield on behalf of Minapharm. The event was attended by Chairman of the Egyptian Stock Exchange Mr. Mohamed Farid, Minister of Planning, Monitoring, and Administrative Reform Dr. Hala Helmy El-Said, Minister of Transport Dr. Hesham Arafat, Minister of Public Business Sector Eng. Khaled Badawi, Minister of Local Development Maj. Gen. Abu Bakr al-Gendy, and Minister of Culture Dr. Inas Abdel-Dayem, as well as more than 700 Executive Heads of companies, public , private institutions, and government bodies.

Dr. Sahar Nasr commended companies in the private sector for their role in supporting the Egyptian economy and providing more job opportunities, and revealed that economic indicators for the first quarter of the year support the government's optimism for achieving high growth rates this current fiscal year.

It is worth noting that the rating criteria for the 100 best companies in the Egyptian market were determined this year through the analysis of companies listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange. The top companies were determined according to their returns, net profits, and market value. The list included notable companies such as Orange, Vodafone, Orascom Telecom, CIB, and Juhayna.
